During my recent stay at Hotel Áčko, I found it to be a charming oasis near the beginning of the recreation area Malinô Brdo, perfect for families who enjoy hiking and unique accommodations. The colorful, Flinstones-inspired architecture added character to our experience, while the intimate restaurant offered a delightful menu, making our meals both enjoyable and memorable. The location was ideal for outdoor adventures, with easy walking access to Hrabovská tank and picturesque views of the surrounding nature, making it a fantastic base for exploring the rich natural beauty of the Great Fatra. The wellness area, complete with a traditional Finnish sauna, provided a relaxing end to our active days—a feature I particularly loved, as it felt rejuvenating after our hikes. Though my daughters found the children's corner a delightful touch, the hotel also excelled in offering a peaceful atmosphere with attentive staff, which allowed my family to truly unwind. Hotel Áčko is a hidden gem that balances comfort, style, and a strategic location for family-friendly excursions.
